Bowman Power Group is a UK based producer of energy efficiency technology that utilises waste energy from large engines to generate electricity.

The company’s core product is the Turbogenerator, a turbine driven electrical generator that recovers useful energy from waste heat, principally from the exhaust stream of the engine. By increasing the power output, the Bowman Turbogenerator thus significantly increases the overall efficiency of the engine.

Bowman has successfully started commercial sales of the Turbogenerator in 2010, focussing initially on the power generation market in both diesel and biogas engines. The company is further working with some of the leading truck engine manufacturers globally to introduce the technology to the hybrid truck market in the medium term.
